The Isabel Brittain Consultancy is the culmination of my lifelong love of the literary and visual arts. Having worked for more than twenty-five years in the industry, the consultancy draws on the knowledge, expertise, and professional connections that I’ve gathered over time.

As a director of Enitharmon Editions, the UK’s leading publisher of artists’ books, prints and literary editions, and of Hikari Press, an independent publisher funded by Arts Council England, I have dedicated my career to promoting and nurturing writers and artists.

I have a BA in Literature and an MA in Children’s Literature and have worked as a children’s book manuscript assessor for The Literary Consultancy (TLC) and an arts administrator at the Arvon Foundation, the UK’s largest organisation specialising in creative writing courses.

The consultancy is dedicated to promoting literary and illustrative excellence through its agency and editing services, and artistic excellence through its art consultations, which introduce clients to exceptional works by established and emerging artists.
